Managing scan execution
Watching, stopping, restarting and searching scans in Scan History.
Scans are monitored and managed from the Scan History tab. Once a scan completes, its status is set to Finished and the report files become available through the Report button.
Controlling a running scan
| Control | Effect |
|---|---|
| Stop | Cancels the scan and stops its containers. |
| Restart | Runs the same configuration again. |
| Delete | Removes the scan record. |
| Report | Downloads the report archive for a finished scan. |
| Product name | Opens the results in DefectDojo. |
Live logs
Click the Date or Target of a scan to watch its execution logs in real time:
For AI scans the log is the best progress indicator you have — it names the stage the agent is in and reports what each gate dropped, which is how you tell a slow scan from a stuck one.
Searching
The search bar searches every field except the date:
To search across assets, vulnerabilities, scans and credentials at once, use Global search and system logs.
